School Board Exploring Issues In Arming Teachers

Boone County, OH School Board exploring issues in arming teachers.

The Boone County, OH School Board is exploring issues in arming teachers with firearms.  The training would be provided to volunteer teachers with concealed firearms permits.  The training could possibly be provided by the Sheriff’s Office or Joe Kalil using his POST program.

It would be up to the school board to determine if they would go through with any training at all and if so, who would do the training.  Board member Ed Massey is upset with Kalil’ message on his POST website telling people to support board members who support POST or run for the school board.  Several northern Kentucky sheriff’s have expressed their support for the program.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
