Teacher Suspended For Facebook Post

West Virginia teacher suspended for Facebook post making fun of Gay-Straight Alliance Club

David Foggin a high school teacher in West Virginia, has been suspended for four days due to a Facebook post he made.  Foggin posted a picture of  poster advertising meetings for the Gay-Straight Alliance club.  He then made fun of the club and of the students involved in it.  School Superintendent Pat Law says that he suspended Foggin until the beginning of Spring break to give the school board time to weigh in on the suspension.  Law says that the incident is still under investigation.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
