Teacher aide a hero after saving choking student who had passed out.
Jennifer Hanson says that she was just doing what she would want anyone to do if one of her children were choking. Hanson a volunteer teacher aide was on cafeteria duty when she noticed seven-year old John Wright slumped over. Before she could get to him she watched him fall and hit his head. When Hanson got to Wright she noticed a grape in the unconscious Boy’s hand. She picked him up and started performing the Heimlich maneuver on him.
