The New Jersey Legislature has made it the responsibility of public middle schools to teach students how to use social media in a responsible manner beginning next year.  Also another bill awaiting Governor Chris Christie’s signature would require school districts to come up with policies regarding student-teacher interaction via social media.  Both are part of  a national movement gaining momentum to help younger Americans become safer on the internet.  Some of the instruction would probably include topics like cyber bullying, ethics, safety.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
