Grading Florida’s teachers and schools has been going on for a few years now.
We are just now starting to see some of those scores come out. It took a legal battle by the Florida Times Union to get access to those scores. The scores show that nearly 60% of Florida school districts scored below the state average. Many in the northeast part of the state scored above the state average. The scores for teachers will decide if they get a raise or not. In addition to that, they will decide if a teacher will keep their jobs or not.
