Home Teacher News Feds Say Teachers Hired Stand Ins To Take Their Certification Tests

A federal investigation has uncovered a 15 year long span of teachers and aspiring teachers paying for hired test takers to take certification tests for them.  Teachers in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee paid between $1500 and $3000 to Clarence Mumford Sr to have one of his test takers take the required certification test for them.  They would then get a passing grade and then use it to get a job teaching.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
