Ex teacher returns to classroom as resource officer after retiring from the Covington Police Dept and being hired by the Kenton Sheriff’s Office.
Kevin Sumner is returning to the classroom where he used to be a school teacher. Now he is wearing a uniform, gun, and a badge. After teaching for four years, Sumner became a police officer and retired after sixteen years with the Covington Police Department. He was then hired by the Kenton Sheriff’s Office and became the School Resource Officer for the Covingtion Independent Public Schools, elementary schools.
