Teachers vote on the new contract Tuesday at John J. Pershing West Middle School in Chicago.

Chicago Public School Teachers voted this week to ratify their contract with the city.  A whopping 79.1% of the teachers voted for the agreement.  The agreement calls for pay raises, limits on student progress effecting evaluations, and an extended school year.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
